Job Description

As a country manager, your role will be to manage and develop Qonto’s business in Germany from scratch. This outstanding position will allow you to build a strategy and implement it.

Product localization:
After gaining a deep understanding of German competitive environment, take the best of our service and adapt it to your market local taste!
-Product features: work with our Global Product team to identify current features we should keep as they are and adapt the ones that are relevant to your market
-Language: manage our content transcreation to make sure Qonto sounds ‘local’ in Germany
Acquisition & revenue generation:
Partner with the Global Growth team to make sure Qonto has a great traction in your market to maximize MRR, using SEO/SEA, affiliation, referral, branding campaigns, events
Source, choose, and drive local partnerships to address German businesses needs
Public relations:
Be the local spokesperson of Qonto in Germany and maximize our media coverage
Build, manage and develop the Qonto Germany team (based in Paris)
Finance & Legal:
You’re an outstanding ‘all-rounder’ and own all the verticals

Experience as a top performer in the B2B SaaS industry, or in a major digital player (e.g., Amazon, Google, Facebook, Apple), or in a top tier consulting firm or the financial services industry. Ideally, all of them :)
Master’s degree, with 4+ years of experience
Analytical spirit, hands-on execution, and entrepreneurial mindset
Deep understanding and faith in Qonto’s potential in your market: you know why a service such as Qonto is needed and the value it will bring to German companies
Excellent communication and business development skills
Strong local network, that will support Qonto’s success in your market
Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time in Germany (from Paris)
And of course, you are 100% fluent in german as well as in english
